Many the prizes awarded to Andrea Riccardi.

To mention some of them: Methodist Worldwide Award for Peace (1997), Niwano Award for peace by Niwano Peace Foundation (1999), Award for peace by UNESCO Felix Houphuet-Boigny (1999), the Legion d’Honneur by the French Republic (2002), Balzan Award for Peace and Brotherhood among peoples (2004), Italian National Culture of Peace (2006).

Last 21st may 2009 he received the Charlemagne Prize in Aachen, together with the Community of Sant’Egidio, awarded for the year 2008.

In 2011, the Foundation Vittorino Colombo and the Municipality of Albiate awarded him with the XV International Prize.
